Sea Guard Epoxy Red Oxide Primer
This is a two pack high performance primer Based on Epoxy resin, Red Oxide pigment & stable Extenders. Chemically inert property of Red Oxide pigment and Saline water resistance of Epoxy Resin makes this coating ideal for iron and steel surfaces as primer coat. Its excellent resistance to saline water properties make it suitable for marine environment.
AREA OF APPLICATION:
It is used on all iron and steel surfaces of all river or sea-going vessels, pontoons, sea-shore structures etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface must be properly cleaned and free from rust, old paints, grease, wax, salt deposit or other contaminants. Repair surface defects before painting.
APPLICATION METHOD
Always stir paint properly before use. Mix paint with Curing Agent (Hardener) at 2:1 ratio by volume. Apply by brush or roller after thinning 10-15% by vol. with Roxy Epoxy Thinner. Mixed paint must be used off with in 6 hrs approximately. Apply 1-2 coats of this Primer Check proper drying before next coat. This paint can be applied by spray after proper thinning.
